Join certified running coach Rachel Gaffney to learn how to improve your fitness in just a few weeks through running even if you have never run before. Run For It offers running specific coaching. CONTACT RACHEL and let her know your needs. She will provide personal coaching and a training plan that will take you to your ultimate running goals.
In addition to personal coaching, Run For It provides group running classes in Snohomish, Everett, and Mill Creek, WA. Certified running coach Rachel Gaffney works with brand new and recreational runners to help them achieve running and fitness goals. Each client will receive a personalized training plan based on current fitness levels, lifestyle, and time constraints. Specifically Run For It offers:
- Personal coaching and training plans
- Learn to run classes for brand new runners.
- Basebuilding classes for recreational runners wanting to build up a solid running foundation.
- Workplace running programs.
- The ability for you to create your own running class with friends or family based on a common distance goal.
- ½ and full marathon training
- Individualized Training Plans
- All classes include constant contact with a RRCA Certified Running Coach Rachel Gaffney and an individualized training plan.

This just in! Learn about Coach Rachel in the January issue of Runner’s World Magazine. Ladies from the fall learn to run class help celebrate the issue after running over 7 miles! Woohoo! Birch Bay or Bust Ladies!
- Tuesdays: 1/2 Marathon Training Program – get tuned up for the Hero’s 1/2 at the end of April the Rock and Roll in June and everything in between. If you can run walk or crawl 6-7 miles this class is for you. We have a great core group of runner’s ready to support you while you work toward a Spring or Summer 1/2 marathon.
*9:00 am meets at variety of locations around Everett, Mukilteo and Mill Creek. $70 /8 classes – includes training plan – Class starts March 5th
- Thursdays: Track Class - All abilities from not running at all, intermediate, and seasoned. I will tailor a track workout specific to your ability. For beginners we will work on building endurance and improving overall strength and running form. For intermediate and seasoned we will be working on stamina and speed. This promises to be a high intensity high calorie burning workout.
- Sundays: Any pace run class. All abilities from not running at all, intermediate, and seasoned. All participants will be working on building endurance each week. I will create a workout that is specific to your ability and goals. Our focus is finding out where you are at know in terms of running fitness and getting you to where you want to be. This class is full of fun people at every speed. Our motto is run walk or crawl …just keep moving forward.
* 7:30 am meet on Centennial Trail $70 8 /classes – includes training plan. Class Starts March 25th
- Monday’s – Strength training with Cindy Johnson PES. Improve your running form, increase your running endurance and add the strength component your training program needs.
- Sunday’s – Boot Camp with Carissa Norman ACSM certified personal trainer. After run class head up to Glacier Peak High School for a high intensity/calorie blasting workout. Carissa is my personal trainer and I highly recommend her bootcamp. It’s also the cheapest around. Boot camp will be an hour of intense interval training combined with resistance and core work. Come ready to burn some calories and have some fun! Bring water and please eat before you come.
- 9:00 – 10am Glacier Peak High School Track Area – starts March 18th. Cost is $14 per class pay as you go. email norman.carissa@gmail.com if interested.
